Interactive Science, Technology, Arts and Environment Center
Recognizing education as the maim motor of a society, a recognized group of community leaders founded the Patronato Museo Sol del Niño A.C., along with the three levels of government businesses and persons that together inaugurated SOL DEL NIÑO Center in 1998.
Its area of influence reaches the cities of Mexicali, Calexico, San Felipe, Tecate, Tijuana, and San Diego, with a population well over 3 and a half million .

Sol del Niño is locates in the heart of Mexicali, surrounded by beautiful gardens and in an enormous building that until several years ago was a warehouse for cotton seed, and is now been designated as a historic landmark.
The Center consists of 30,000 square meters, 12,000 of which are the constructed areas in which the areas of Scientific and Technological knowledge in the areas of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Electronics, Optics, Environment and more can be experienced.
